13th April: We ask your prayers for our Abbess, Sr Aelred, who had just had a tumour removed from her pituitary gland, and though the operation was successful, she is experiencing a few setk-backs. She is in St Richards hospital in Chichester. Pray that she will pick up soon.
Sister Geraldine: We were sad to say goodbye to Sister Geraldine who has been with us for the past 6 weeks. She is from France, and stayed with us while she did a course in English in a college in Hampden Park. She felt at home with us, and at the weekends did valiant work in the garden. This was a great relaxation for her after studying all week. She was very successful in her course, and got her certificate with flying colours. She has returned to Arundel, but we hope she will come and stay with us again.
